Ink and gold leaf on wooden panel
16 x 21 x 1.5 inches
Paintings on paper should be displayed behind a regular glass frame. However, paintings on wooden panels are backed with a 1.5 inch cradle and as such, may be displayed with or without a frame. You may wish to use a frame to increase the overall size and add intensity to your piece. If so, a floater frame, such as the one pictured on this page, is recommended.
Floater frames are ideal, as none of the art is obscured by the lip of a traditional picture frame. Furthermore, they create the illusion that the piece is floating inside the picture frame, adding a sense of three-dimensional depth and an interesting visual pattern.
Floater frames may be ordered online or bought from your local picture framer.
